“Celebrating America,” a 90-minute, multi-network evening broadcast hosted by Tom Hanks, officially took the place of the usual multiple inaugural balls due to the pandemic. It featured multiple performances by musical, stage, screen, and other celebrities, as well as a deeply moving presentation from Vice-President Kamala Harris, and a once in a lifetime conversation between Presidents Obama, Bush and Clinton, the last three presidents to serve two full terms. The celebration concludes with a fireworks show of shows with President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden looking on from the White House.

The entire nation had the opportunity to see it as it was broadcast on the major networks in prime time in all time zones.
