The son of Jerry Sandusky, a former Penn State assistant coach convicted of sexually abusing 10 boys, has pleaded guilty to soliciting oral sex and nude photos\u00a0from teenage girls,\u00a0according to the Associated Press.<\/p>\n
Jeffrey Sandusky, 41, faces up to eight\u00a0years in state\u00a0prison after admitting\u00a0on Friday to various charges related to text conversations with two sisters after his father\u00a0was sentenced to prison.<\/p>\n
A\u00a0prison guard before his arrest in February, Jeffrey Sandusky has long been one of his father\u2019s most loyal\u00a0allies. He defended the infamous coach\u00a0in multiple interviews,\u00a0seeing \u201cboundary issues\u201d where a jury saw predation, and managed to\u00a0convince a writer for Bleacher Report<\/a> of \u201cthe sincerity behind his words\u201d \u2014 if not\u00a0the words themselves.<\/p>\n Prosecutors allege that in 2013, the year after his father was convicted of 45 counts of sex abuse spanning\u00a0more than a decade, Jeffrey Sandusky texted a 15-year-old girl and asked her for various things \u2014 at\u00a0one point oral sex.<\/p>\n The girl refused and didn\u2019t mention the exchange to her parents, according to a state trooper affidavit reviewed by Penn Live<\/a>.<\/p>\n But three years later, in 2016, Sandusky is accused of making essentially the same request to the girl\u2019s\u00a0then-16-year-old sister, who told her father.<\/p>\n He\u00a0tried to convince the second girl to comply\u00a0by saying he studied medicine, according to the affidavit, which was\u00a0previously described by The Washington Post.<\/a><\/p>\n [Jeffrey Sandusky, a staunch defender of his father, faces child sex solicitation charges<\/a>] <\/i><\/p>\n When that didn\u2019t work, according to Penn Live\u2019s description of court records,\u00a0Sandusky tried to apologize and asked the girl to delete her texts.<\/p>\n But it was too late.<\/p>\n \u201cYou did what you did and I\u2019m not going to give you a chance to try to justify it,\u201d the girl\u00a0wrote back, according to the affidavit, and\u00a0compared the younger Sandusky to a rapist.<\/p>\n He was arrested in February, charged with 14 counts of sexual solicitation\u00a0and unlawful contact with minors.<\/p>\n Just as\u00a0he had defended his father, Jeffrey Sandusky\u2019s mother defended him, Cindy Boren wrote for The Post.<\/a><\/p>\n But on Friday, according to the Associated Press, Jeffrey Sandusky pleaded guilty to all counts as part of a deal with prosecutors.<\/p>\n His lawyer didn\u2019t immediately answer a request for comment from The Post, and it\u2019s unclear when his sentence will be set.<\/p>\n \u201cWhile we were fully prepared to proceed to trial, today\u2019s guilty plea to all charges ensures a significant prison sentence,\u201d Centre County District Attorney Stacy Parks Miller said in a statement to news outlets, including Centre Daily.<\/a><\/p>\n Both sisters had once \u201ccompletely trusted\u201d the son of Jerry Sandusky, Miller wrote. \u201cWe are happy that these girls can move forward and experience a life with adults that deserve their trust.\u201d<\/p>\n
